It’s the brainchild of Canadian entrepreneurs Noel Keerthiraj, Sen Sachi and Prasanna Balachandran with Rahman. “Moopilla Thamizhe”, as its name suggests, is one of the oldest languages in the world. The song is written by famous poet and songwriter Thamarai.
Regarded as a song of encouragement and self-confidence, ‘Moopilla Thamizhe’ asks the younger generation to connect with their cultural roots and advance Tamil culture and heritage. Saindhavi Prakash, Khadija Rahman, AR Ameen, Ameena Rafique, Gabriella Cellus and Poovaiyar sang the song along with AR Rahman, while additional vocals include Rakshita Suresh, Niranjana Ramanan, Aparna Harikumar and Nakul Abhyankar.
