Journey to the Lost World in New Ice Age Movie “The Adventures of Buck Wild”

The collapse. Continental Drift. Asteroids. And now, the lost world. the Ice Age the crew are back for another world-changing adventure. (The one where once again their prehistoric lives are at stake.)

This time, opossum brothers Crash and Eddie take center stage. When the duo venture out on their own, they end up tumbling across Earth and landing in the Lost World. With the help of adventurous weasel Buck Wild (and some of their old friends, too), they’ll take on the dinosaurs to save the lost world.

The new animated feature will debut on Disney +. (Disney previously acquired Blue Sky Studios, the animation house responsible for Ice Age franchise.) Here is the official description of the Disney + movie:

Buck Wild’s Glacial Adventures continues the hilarious escapades of the beloved subzero heroes of the blockbuster global Ice Age franchise as they create more prehistoric pandemonium. Hungry for a little independence, the thrill-seeking opossum brothers, Crash and Eddie, decided to find a place of their own, but quickly found themselves trapped under the ice in a huge cave inhabited by dinosaurs. They are rescued by one-eyed, adventure-crazed Buck Wild, and together, with the help of new friends, embark on a mission to save the lost world from the domination of the dinosaurs.

This film features the voices of Simon Pegg, Utkarsh Ambudkar, Justina Machado, Vincent Tong and Aaron Harris. This is the sixth installment in the blockbuster animated franchise. Previous entries include Ice Age (2002), Ice Age: Fusion (2006), Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs (2009), Ice Age: continental drift (2012), and Ice Age: Collision Course (2016).

Buck Wild’s Glacial Adventures premieres on Disney + on January 28. You can stream the other movies in the franchise on the platform as well.
