For Flash, it means that realities will collide. Kind of like the recent blockbuster hit Spider-Man: No Path Home, Flash will see movie continuities cross as a result of Barry’s actions. Not only will it star Batman (Ben Affleck) from the DCEU, but it will also bring back Michael Keaton’s version of the character for the first time since. Batman Returns. If these two Batmans will actually share the screen in Flash remains to be seen, but fans certainly hope so.

In the case of fan-favorite filmmaker Kevin Smith, he’s also hoping that another Batman shows up in The flash. In the most recent episode of his show Fatman beyond (Going through ComicBook.com), Smith shared his enthusiasm for Flash and the return of Keaton, declaring that the moment will be “bring tears to my eyesAt the same time, he was quick to share his hopes that Christian Bale would also make a Batman cameo, which could turn out to be Flash in the DCEU No way home. Smith said:

“If they want to make a No Way Home, however, they better bring in Christian Bale too. If I’m them, I support a truckload of money over to Christian Bale who just begs for him for two minutes. so we can have our own No Way Home. “

Christian Bale blatantly in Batman Begins

As has been well documented to date, Spider-Man: No Path Home presents its own multiversal premise that allows former on-screen villains like Doc Ock (Alfred Molina) and Electro (Jamie Foxx) to appear alongside Tom Holland’s web-slinger. In addition, (upcoming spoilers), the film features the Dutch predecessors of Peter Parker, Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield. In the case of Flash, uniting Affleck, Keaton, and Bale would create a similar effect for the DCEU, albeit with the Dark Knight himself.

At the moment, the plot details for Flash are still being kept a secret, so it’s not even clear how Keaton’s Batman appears in the DCEU. With so little of what the film has in store, there’s no reason Bale couldn’t play his Batman again. If Muschietti did eventually bring it back, however, one would hope that the twist is being kept a secret until Flash raw. A large majority of No way homeThe returns of were revealed ahead of time, and while it still made for some exciting times in the theater, it would have been a lot more exciting not knowing anything. Affleck and Keaton are already ready for Flash, and if Bale is to come back as well, let it be an incredible surprise to the audience.
