Pulp Fiction’s Uma Thurman and Samuel L. Jackson Reunite for New Film


Last week’s 94th Academy Awards saw Uma Thurman and Samuel L. Jackson reunite on stage to celebrate the 27th anniversary of their iconic film, pulp Fiction, and now the cast are teaming up again, this time for an all-new film. According to The Hollywood ReporterThurman and Jackson should star in The killing room, an upcoming dark crime thriller from writer Jonathan Jacobson. Nicol Paone is ready to lead.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, The killing room follows a hitman, his boss (Jackson), an art dealer (Thurman), and a money laundering scheme that accidentally turns the assassin into an overnight cutting-edge sensation that compels him to play the art world against the underworld. The killing room is produced by Jordan Yale Levine, Jordan Beckerman and Jon Keeyes under their Yale Productions banner with Anne Clements of Idiot Savant Pictures as well as Paone, Thurman and Danielle Thomas and Jason Weinberg of Untitled Entertainment. Manufacturing on The killing room should be this spring in New Jersey and New York.

” Can do The killing room — an already incredible storyline — starring Uma Thurman and Samuel L. Jackson is beyond my wildest dreams,” Paone said. “Every moment they’re on screen, they’re both enviable and eye-catching. I’m forever grateful to them for saying yes, and I’m thrilled to bring this to life alongside Anne Clements and Yale Productions.”

“Combining Uma and Sam for this project is a dream come true,” added Levine and Beckerman. “We’re sure Nicol will deliver a special film that strikes the perfect balance between dark humor and thrills.”

Thurman recently starred in the Apple TV+ series Suspicion and also starred in the 2020 film, The war with grandfather, which also starred Robert De Niro. She currently appears on the Showtime series super pumped where she plays Arianna Huffington. Jackson, who recently received the Honorary Governor’s Award from the Oscars, can currently be seen on Apple TV+ The Last Days of Ptolemy Gray and also has a number of upcoming Marvel projects, including Secret Invasion, Wondersand eventually Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
