As the film, which won three Oscars in 1973 and spawned two sequels, is fast approaching its 50th anniversary. To celebrate this milestone, Sky has added a collection of iconic quotes from the film to Sky Q and Sky Glass.
No need to ask the Don himself, just recite your favorites such as “Leave the gun, get the cannoli”, or the infamous, “I’m going to make him an offer he can’t refuse” in your remote control to enjoy The Godfather, The Godfather: Part IIand The Godfather: Part III on your TV in seconds.
If you have a Sky Q box under your TV, you’ll need to make sure you’re using the Sky Q voice remote. Press and hold the microphone button (on the newer model it’s located front and center the remote…but if you’ve had Sky Q for a few years, you might have an older remote with the microphone button lit on the right side) and say the command out loud.
Sky Glass owners can use the hands-free feature to issue a voice command without having to press a button on the microphone. To do this, you will need to use the “Hello, Sky” wake phrase which triggers the voice command feature.
