Adele presents herself and conquers the Hyde Park festival in London | English Film News

The ‘Rolling in the Deep’ singer Adele graced the BST Hyde Park festival recently, her first major appearance here after five years.

The last time Adele headlined a massive outdoor run in her hometown, in 2017, she canceled the final two shows of her planned four-night stint at Wembley Stadium after damaging her vocal cords . In fact, it was her first full live show since then.

As Adele began to sing, she emerged with minimal fanfare, wearing a sleek black dress and statement earrings, singing “Hello.”

But she barely made it past the front row before she exclaimed, “I’m so happy to be here!” and ask the crowd for voice assistance.

According to reports, the audience was fully on his side, the lyrics of each heartbreaking anthem echoing along the seemingly endless rows of fans enjoying the evening sun. But Adele worked them anyway.

“It’s strange to be in front of a crowd again,” she said at one point but, in truth, she remains natural.

Before singing “I Drink Wine,” she exclaimed, “I’m so excited myself!” All the exaggerated raised eyebrows and grunts from the fans who seemed to have taken the advice of the song title to the letter.

But neither could many other singers pull off his style of cruise ship compering, reading the signs held aloft in the crowd and congratulating people on birthdays, anniversaries, “divorce parties”, exam results (“I failed all my exams and I’m fine”).

As a final rope-filled “Love is a Game” drifted across the fields, real fireworks lit up the crowd and more confetti arrived. This time it was pink and red hearts, perfectly symbolizing the renewed love affair between the British capital and its prodigal daughter.
