Drifting Home Movie Previews ZUTOMAYO Insert Song and Unfinished Footage into New Video


The next Drift home The anime movie has received a new PV that previews the insert song “Natsugare” along with unfinished footage from the movie.

The song is performed by a music group ZUTOMAYO, which was announced as the theme song and insert song artist on the day of the video’s release. Staff credits for the PV include Hyperbole Inc. Toshiyuki Yamashita (86 Eighty Six opening director) and Rina Mitsuzumi (Gundam Breaker Batlog finishing background graphics) as director and graphic designer respectively. Hyperbole Inc. is credited with the compositing.

Drifting Home is set to premiere this year on Netflix. The streaming platform describes the film as follows:

One summer day, Kosuke and his friends visit a building that is about to be demolished and suddenly find themselves caught up in a strange phenomenon. All they see around them is a vast sea.

The film is directed by penguin highwayit is Hiroyasu Ishidawho is also in charge of the scenario with Hayashi Mori (Cells in action! Code Black series composer) and Minaka Sakamoto (Babylon scriptwriter). Other staff include Akihiro Nagae (At a glance animation director) as a character designer, Fumi Kato (burn the witch animation director) as a character design assistant, Umitaro Abe (penguin highway music composer) as a music composer. Studio Colorido is the animation production company.
