A new film project called “Todavía Conmigo” (Still With Me) will see scenes filmed in several different regions of the state of Baja California, among them the natural landscapes of the mountainous areas of the Centinela-La Rumorosa highway.
Carlos Gómez González said that the production of Omar Veytia and Luis Ernesto Franco was supported by the Public Trust of the Centinela-La Rumorosa Road Funding and Investment Administration (FIARUM) so that they could film these scenes.
The head of the agency explained that the directors of this Mexican film had contacted them through the Film Commission of Baja California and that, for this reason, they had received authorization to film as easily as possible. . This was done in coordination with the National Guard.
“For us, it is very important to be part of these types of projects. This gives us the opportunity to fulfill the instructions given by Governor Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda to promote the film industry and show what our state has to offer internationally,” said Gómez González.
The team led by director Alfonso Pineda Ulloa received assistance from FIARUM staff during filming, which included shots of the motorway and toll areas.
“Todavía Conmigo” has as protagonists the Mexican actors Bárbara López and Luis Ernest Franco. This film seeks to show the beauty and cultural richness of our country with a plot that includes a motorcycle tour through the Baja California peninsula.
