FLORENCE PUGH has ended press interviews for the new movie Don’t Worry Darling.
It comes after director and actress Olivia Wilde’s public spat with the film’s first lead role Shia Labeouf – which Florence was dragged into as collateral damage.
Now we learn that Florence is refusing to do interviews for the film, as she films Dune: Part Two in Budapest, and wants to avoid the red carpet altogether when the film premieres at the Venice Film Festival next month.
A source said: “Florence is disappointed with this narrative and she doesn’t want to be dragged into feuds between other talents.
“The movie has everyone talking for all the wrong reasons and she doesn’t want to fuel that anymore by dealing with awkward questions.”
It comes after US website PageSix reported last month that Olivia and Florence had a falling out over the director’s romance with Harry Styles, who replaced Labeouf, who some on set called “unprofessional “.
It all started after Olivia told Variety that she fired troubled actor LaBeouf because of his “fighting energy.”
But Shia fired back with her own version of events and has the receipts to back it up. He posted emails explaining his decision to leave the project, saying he didn’t have time to rehearse with the cast.
A video Olivia sent him begging him to reconsider is also on the loose, where she alludes to a disagreement between Shia and Florence, far left, saying, “I want to understand this. You know, I think that might be a bit of a wake-up call for Miss Flo.
In Shia’s letter to Variety, he wrote, “Firing me never happened, Olivia. And while I fully understand the appeal of pushing this story due to the current social landscape. . . That’s not the truth.
“So I humbly ask you to correct the narrative as best you can.
“I hope none of this affects you negatively and that your film succeeds in all the ways you want it to be.”
The drama surrounding the movie could be better than the movie at this rate.
Is it Megane? The corset is
MEGAN THEE STALLION was never going to step out for her festival sets in a comfy cardigan.
And she lived up to expectations by taking the stage in a black leather corset, leaving little to the imagination.
The NES rapper rocked the racy outfit for her performance at Reading Festival on Friday, before headlining the Main Stage West at Leeds Festival last night.
And she made it a night to remember for two groups of ‘hotties’ in Reading after inviting them to join her on stage – despite organizers banning her from doing so.
At one point during the set, Megan asked fans who loved their bodies to scream before saying, “That’s really hot girl shit, loving yourself is really hot girl shit. “

SUMMER NOT HOT ON PAUL
PAUL HOLLYWOOD’s ex-girlfriend Summer Monteys-Fullam has launched a scathing attack on the Great British Bake Off judge, calling it ‘average’.
Former bartender Summer, who dated Paul for two years before they split in August 2019, was asked by fans online if she would date an average builder.
And she caustically replied, “I dated a sooo average ‘baker’…” Ouch.
Summer also went on to tell her followers that moving away from Kent, where she lived with TV star Paul, to the Cotswolds was the “best thing” she had ever done.
So it’s safe to say there’s no love lost there.
Paul, who is now dating another bartender, Melissa Spalding, will soon be back on our screens with the new Bake Off series.
We know who won’t be listening.
OTI’S OH, SO HIGH VISIBILITY
OTI MABUSE shared how she wanted her next TV project to be on . . . public works.
The ex-Strictly pro, who as a youth juggled between training as a civil engineer and competing on the ballroom stage, opened up about his experience in an interview to promote The CHER Show, which is now live. UK tour.
Oti – who choreographed the musical, telling the American singer’s life story – said: “Engineering and dancing are both about problem solving and precision and I love them both from the same way. I would love to do a TV show about it.
Speaking on The One Show in 2018, South African Oti revealed: “I went to study civil engineering for four years and then I started working. Then because the hours were so long, I couldn’t dance anymore.
“I missed dancing so much, but in those days you couldn’t really do it in South Africa and make a living from it, because they saw it as fun entertainment at the table.”
Unable to let go of the dance bug, Oti moved to Europe and was scouted by Strictly bosses.
Since leaving the BBC show in February, she’s landed a string of TV jobs, but so far none have involved clipboards, helmets or high-visibility jackets. Over to you, TV bosses.
Chris will find his voice on Outlyers
COLDPLAY frontman Chris Martin is considering a return to reality television.
The yellow hitmaker was approached earlier this year by former Australian X Factor star and his friend Emmanuel Kelly about a role in his new TV project.
And sources say he could take an advisory role on The Outlyers series, which will feature ten contestants with incredible life stories.
Chris is already an advisor for Emmanuel’s entertainment company, The Outlyer Group, which aims to champion talent with different abilities.
A source said: “Emmanuel has known Chris for many years and when he spoke to him about this TV series he was very supportive of him. He hopes to get him involved. He already sits on the advisory board of Emmanuel’s company .
Emmanuel, who is disabled, was abandoned in a shoebox as a newborn in war-torn Iraq. He was raised in an orphanage in Baghdad and, at age seven, was taken to Australia by a humanitarian for surgery, which helped him walk.
He shot to fame after auditioning for The X Factor in 2011 and has been friends with Chris for six years.
Shortly after meeting, the chart leader invited Emmanuel to join him on stage with Coldplay in Melbourne.
Chris then produced tracks on Emmanuel’s album and recently invited him to open for the band on tour in Australia and New Zealand. Speaking last year, Chris said of Emmanuel: “He’s a beautiful soul. Before I get to what he’s been through or how different his abilities are, he’s just a lovely person who always tries to see the light in situations.
“And he’s a very good singer. Her voice is beautiful. . . and then once you learn his story, he experiences chemistry in terms of someone most people would have written off, who instead turned into this shining star. He is very inspiring.
“It’s impossible to be around Emmanuel and complain about stupid bullshit.”
Chris’ involvement with the series would mark his first contribution to reality TV since appearing as a guest mentor on The Voice in America in 2014.
The Outlyers, which is the brainchild of Emmanuel, is currently showing on UK TV channels and has received an enthusiastic response from many. Watch this place.
Vick’s feast for the eyes
VICK HOPE is far from blue as she smiles in double denim.

There’s no denying the star, engaged to Calvin Harris, has plenty to smile about.
LOVE Island’s Ikenna was having a blast snapping selfies with fans at the Reading Festival.
A viewer told us: “It used to be that reading was only about rock, but it’s become a reality.
