‘Moon Knight’ Producer Wants to See ‘Midnight Suns’ Movie Made

moon knight producer Grant Curtis wants to see a midnight suns movie made but can’t say when or if it will happen.

Over the past few years, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has grown in more subtle ways. Specifically, in the Disney Plus series Wanda Vision and moon knight, we got a little taste of what the mighty studio can do when it includes horror elements in its properties. Now Doctor Strange In The Multiverse of Madness has brought some of those horror elements to the big screen and some are wondering when a midnight suns the movie could be made.

In the comics, the Midnight Suns are what the Avengers are what Justice League Dark is to the main Justice League. Specifically, they’re heroes who team up to take on threats of a more magical nature that the main Avengers may not be equipped to deal with. The team is already the subject of an upcoming video game, and with characters like Blade, Black Knight, and Moon Knight now established, the team could, in theory, get a live-action treatment as well. One of the Disney Plus producers, however, isn’t eager to make such an announcement.

By talking to Comicbook.com, moon knight Producer Grant Curtis admitted he seemed eager to see a Midnight Suns movie get made, but also said such a move was beyond his pay grade to talk about:

“That’s a great question for my boss down the hall. I can walk into Kevin Feige’s office and you’ll have all your answers. No, but seriously. It’s above my salary, my friend, but I can’t wait to see the answer to that too.

Here is the synopsis of Moon Knight:

The series follows mild-mannered gift shop clerk Steven Grant, who is plagued by power outages and memories from another life. Steven discovers he has dissociative identity disorder and shares a body with mercenary Marc Spector. As Steven/Marc’s enemies converge on them, they must navigate their complex identities while immersed in a deadly mystery among the mighty gods of Egypt.

Created by Jeremy Slater, the Disney Plus series stars Oscar Isaac, May Calamawy, Karim El Hakim, F. Murray Abraham, Ethan Hawke, Ann Akinjirin, David Ganly, Khalid Abdalla, Gaspard Ulliel, Antonia Salib, Fernanda Andrade, Rey Lucas , Sofia Danu and Saba Mubarak.
