Rob Zombie shared the first teaser for their upcoming The Munsters film.

The clip, which the “Dragula” rocker posted on his instagrambegins as an almost shot-for-shot remake of the original 60s TV show’s opening credits, starring Herman Munster, here played by Jeff Daniel Phillipsbreaking down a door, followed by Sheri Moon Zombieis Lily Munster and Daniel Roebuck‘s Grandpa, everything is ready for the classic munsters theme song.

The teaser then transitions from black and white to color as we see the trio sit silently on a couch until Grandpa stands up to ask, “Well, now what?”

We’ll probably know when The Munsters premieres later this year.

The film will be rated PG, which may come as a surprise given Zombie’s often bloody and violent filmography. In a instagram post earlier this year, Zombie alluded to the film’s more family-friendly tone, writing, “For those of you who are speculating, wondering and assuming that The Munsters would be dirty, violent and nasty… well, you are wrong.

Meanwhile, Zombie prepares to hit the road for the Freaks on Parade tour alongside Mudvayne, Static-X and Powerman 5000. The release starts in July.
