RRR Movie Ticket Prices in USA Compared to Baahubali 2 Ticket Prices

RRR gets the biggest Indian film release in the United States. Director Rajamouli is set to release in more than 999 multiplexes across the United States, as announced by distributors.

Another interesting development is that the US RRR distributors avoided a big mistake that had previously been made by the Baahubali distributors.

As in the case of Baahubali 2, tickets for the first shows were priced over $ 30. Ticket prices have even gone up to $ 40 in a few places. It sparked some kind of outrage and there was even an idea to boycott the film due to the unreasonably high ticket prices. Analysts believe the film could have raised a considerably larger amount if the ticket prices had been priced more economically.

Now RRR distributors have taken a more consumer friendly approach. Although RRR is one of the most anticipated films in Indian cinema, ticket prices in the United States are capped at an affordable limit.

Tickets for RRR premieres (Telugu version) were priced at $ 25 (adult), $ 18 (child) on regular screens and $ 28 (adult), $ 20 (child) on large screens. Tickets for Imax and Dolby Vision displays will cost $ 30 and $ 35, respectively. As for regular programs, the prices are $ 22 (adult) – regular screen, $ 25 (adult) – large format, $ 30 (adult) – Imax, $ 35 (adult) – Dolby Vision.

RRR’s ticket prices are capped at a very low price compared to Baahubali 2. This could well help RRR register more footfall and thus generate big box office revenues, given the dizzying buzz surrounding the movie. RRR will hit big screens on January 7, 2022.
