Silambarasan to headline the next Linguswamy | Tamil Cinema News

Popular Tamil actor Silambarasan is said to be playing the lead role in Linguswamy’s upcoming film. The talented director allegedly told a story to Silambarasan, and the actor is also impressed with it. But it is unclear if the film will take off as Silambarasan has a few films in the works.

After “Anjaan” in Tamil, director Lingusamy turned to Telugu cinema, and he should then deliver “The Warrier” with Ram Pothineni. It should also be mentioned that Silambarasan sang the song “Bullet” in “The Warrier” and it turned out to be a viral hit.

Silambarasan will then resume filming ‘Pathu Thala’, and he will complete the work of the film in one stretch to wrap up the work of the gangster drama. Directed by Obeli N Krishna, ‘Pathu Thala’ is the remake of the Kannada film ‘Mufti’, and Silambarasan plays a gangster alongside Gautham Karthik and Priya Bhavani Shankar in prominent roles. Silambarasan also announced “Corona Kumar” with director Gokul, and there have been no updates regarding the film for over a year.

On the other hand, Silambarasan is also expected to assist his father T Rajendar on his overseas medical trip, and it will take time for him to resume his work in the movies.
