‘Spy X Family’ goes vintage with new movie-style promo poster

A brand new poster has been unveiled for Spy x Family for its upcoming limited home press release, and it absolutely gives off vintage action movie vibes.

A sample image of the poster was shown on the show’s official Japanese Twitter account and has the three main characters front and center with an illuminated city of Berlint behind them. According to the official Spy x Family websitethe poster is part of a limited Japanese release for the “Spy x Family Volume 1″ DVD/Blu-ray set.

“Spy x Family – Volume 1” will have both normal limited release on DVD and Blu-ray and will cost ¥7,700 ($60) and ¥8,800 ($68.84). The first volume of the at-home press release will include the anime’s first four episodes on two separate discs, along with bonus content. This set also includes an A2 poster seen above and will contain cast interviews and other bonus content, such as an onstage reading of Episode 3 – “Get Ready for the Interview”.

Spy x Family is an ongoing animated series about a spy who must form a fake family to keep tabs on his target. Her family consists of a telepathic girl and a female assassin. Season 1 will have a total of 25 episodes, with a break between episodes 12 and 13. New episodes are released weekly on Crunchyroll, with the English dub being released a week later.

Volume one of Spy x Family The DVD/Blu-ray will be released on July 20, 2022, with no word yet on an international launch date.
