The film “Journey to Hell” tops the box office

LOS ANGELES, Calif./ACCESSWIRE/September 17, 2022/ The new Christian film “Journey to Hell” burned through box offices in Honolulu, Phoenix, Denver and Colorado Springs to be in the top three of all films in those cities and was number one in many theaters.

The film arrives in new cities in Las Vegas, Houston, Los Angeles/OC and others on October 7, 2022.

“It was amazing,” said a spokesperson for the Christian studio, “because so many people said it led them to repent and become real with God. One pastor told us that his entire youth group was in tears and phoned people to apologize for their wrongs after watching the movie.

So far, the film has flown under the radar, but has brought many people to Christ in the cities where it screened.

“We know it’s God all the way,” says director Tim Chey. “The miracles we have seen have been profound. Hell is not an easy subject and many people I’ve spoken to don’t realize that hell is a real place. They laugh and scoff at the subject, but that doesn’t change that fact.

Many pastors support the film. “There is no more fear of God,” said a well-known church pastor. “And the churches are afraid that hell will scare people away. But it has to be taught and it’s uplifting if you know you’re saved and you don’t have to go.

“The movie is super uplifting at the end,” Chey laughs when told the subject matter scares people. “When you realize that you are truly born again, there is nothing on this earth that is more satisfying than being saved beyond doubt.”

How can one be saved without a doubt?

Chey responds by saying, “I think it was Leonard Ravenhill who said, ‘I doubt 5% of professing Christians in America are born again’ and he may be right.”

Chey continues, “You can tell a true born-again Christian that he is deeply troubled and condemned by sin. They put Jesus first in everything. Jesus is not an afterthought with them. It is not a hobby or a political wing of a party. I see a lot of fake Christians attacking others on Youtube and on the internet and their viciousness and worldliness is astounding. They will have a rude awakening when they die and it is very sad and sobering.

The film, according to many who have seen it, has changed their lives and put them back on the right path to a real relationship with Jesus.

“Journey to Hell” will hit theaters in LA/OC, Houston, Las Vegas and other cities on October 7, 2022.
