Will there be another MCU Avengers movie?

As the MCU continues to grow, many wonder if an Avengers 5 movie will happen, and if so, what the new team would look like.

Joe and Anthony Russo tease their Marvel Studios future

Since the amazing ending of the last Avengers movie, Avengers: Endgame, there’s been a lot of talk about how the Marvel Cinematic Universe will move forward. With rumors that many of the six original superhero contracts expired at the time (Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Chris Evans as Captain America, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye and Mark Ruffalo as The Incredible Hulk), he left the door wide open for other characters to carry the torch of Marvel into the next phase of the MCU. Of course, since then, some originals avengers the actors have re-signed contracts to star in future Marvel projects. However, at this stage, it does not appear that these contracts include future contracts. avengers movies. Marvel President and Chief Creative Officer Kevin Feige even said there won’t be any more Avengers movies in the future.

There are valid arguments for making avengers movies, as well as stopping where they are currently. With such an established name, any future film with the word avengers in the title could likely gross over $1 billion when factoring in worldwide box office sales, streaming rights, merchandise sales, and more. Although we don’t like to think of it that way, the entertainment industry is ultimately a business. Sequels are often lighted for sometimes unworthy films if enough profit is expected to be made. However, in this case, do another avengers The film would easily be justified from a financial standpoint alone – it is, after all, one of the highest-grossing film franchises of all time. That being said, from a storyline perspective, how could Marvel top the sacrifices of Tony Stark, Natasha Romanoff, Vision, and others in order to stop Thanos and return the missing half of civilization to Earth from The Blip? ? Out of respect for what has been built so far in the MCU, why not just focus on creating new characters instead and have the avengers going out on a high, hence the question on the minds of fans everywhere: will there be another MCU Avengers movie?

Will there be an Avengers 5?

That’s yet to be determined, but at the moment it seems unlikely. If things continue as they are now and Marvel doesn’t make an Avengers 5, it’s important to note that just because there may not be any more avengers movies, that doesn’t mean other Marvel superhero groups can’t come together under a different name. It also doesn’t mean that living members of the original Avengers couldn’t join another group of Marvel superheroes at some point, either. Maybe plans can change down the line as well. It’s also possible that this was a diversion from Kevin Feige to keep fan expectations in check as future storylines unfold. If the MCU stays true to the comics, there will definitely be more teams to come. Which MCU members would even be part of this awesome team? Watching upcoming scheduled movies and Disney+ shows should give some insight into where the plans are headed. For example, Doctor Strange 2 merch hinted at a live appearance of the Multiverse Avengers, who were first reunited in the Disney+ animated series What if…?.

Who could be the new Avengers team

Black Widow movie will pass the baton to Florence Pugh's Yelena Belova

Shang-Chi, Yelena Belova (Black Widow’s sister), Kate Bishop (Hawkeye’s apprentice), Moon Knight, Ms. Marvel, and She-Hulk (The Incredible Hulk’s cousin) seem like the most likely candidates at the moment. It also seems increasingly likely that there will be a team of villains as well. Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (aka Madame Hydra) was shown recruiting some of the MCU’s sleaziest characters, such as John Walker (who was first introduced as the new Captain America in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier series before losing the title). Yelena Belova was also shown working for Madame Hydra in the post-credits scene of Black Widow when she is tasked with killing Hawkeye, to whom she tells that she is responsible for her sister’s death. Yelena later learns the truth about her sister’s death directly from Hawkeye during the final episode of the Hawk Eye Disney+ show and may have changed her mind about who she works on going forward. In the mid-credits scene of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Shang-Chi has a conversation with Bruce Banner (Hulk), Captain Marvel and Wong (from Doctor Strange). Is this another potential super team in the making? Moon Knight, Ms. Marvel, and She-Hulk all have Disney+ shows coming out soon, which is why they could all be involved in a future team-up as well.

Do the announced upcoming MCU shows and movies give us any other clues?

Moon K

Based on the roughly 20 upcoming MCU projects (confirmed and rumored), there likely won’t be another cast of heroes assembled until several upcoming characters are introduced (or reintroduced). Because of this, it’s not expected there will be an Avengers (or something similar) for at least the next few years of Marvel movies, as confirmed by the Marvel Boss himself. Of course, we don’t know the plots of any of the upcoming movies or shows, so nothing is impossible. When it comes to Marvel, you learn to never say never. In fact, it is better to be patient and let things unfold. While no movie franchise is perfect, Marvel has an excellent track record so far, and they’re unlikely to disappoint no matter what direction they ultimately take.
